Weir

GAUGE BOOK · ROBINHOOD CHAIN · UNISWAP v4

Nothing passes until the river rises.

Weir is a launchpad that puts the creator's supply under water. Part of every coin is sealed into liquidity the moment its pool opens — it cannot be pulled, by anyone. The rest waits behind gates in a ladder that only opens as the market itself rises, read off the pool, with no admin key and no timer.

A fixed open

every reach opens at the same set level — no oracle, no signer, no negotiation

Sealed at the open

the pool's liquidity is locked away in the same transaction that creates it

Under water

the creator's share sits behind gates only the market can open

Paid over the crest

every trade pays its keeper as it passes; the house takes no cut of trades

THE LADDER

Pool by pool, one way up.

The keeper's share never touches a wallet at launch — it waits in the ladder, split across pools, each behind its own gate. A gate is a level the market has to reach and nothing more: the hook keeps the high-water mark on chain, and the ladder reads it. No one — not the keeper, not the house — can reach a pool that is still under water.

A GATE IS A LEVEL

Each gate sits well above the one before it, so the ladder pays out only as the market keeps climbing. There is no date, no owner and no override — the level is the only key.

OPEN MEANS THE KEEPER'S

Once the water passes a gate, that pool belongs to the keeper. They can draw it and sell it — count on it, and read it on the gauge, where every opened and paid pool is shown plainly.

UNDER WATER MEANS UNTOUCHABLE

A pool below the mark can't be paid out by anyone, the house included. One large buy that spikes the level does open gates — the mark is touch-based, and we say so.

THE CHANNEL

Sealed, not promised

At impound, the pool's liquidity is seated in one position and the position itself is dropped into the Caisson with a permanent seal. There is no release path in the code. Anyone can read the custody on chain.

THE LADDER

Supply under water

The creator's share waits behind the gates. The level opens them pool by pool; nothing else can. What has opened, the keeper owns — and the gauge shows it.

THE SKIM

Paid over the crest

Every swap pays a small, fixed skim of its ETH side at the crest. All of it lands in the keeper's basin — the house takes nothing from trades. The keeper draws it down whenever they like.

THE HONEST GAUGE

What the chain enforces — and what it doesn't

ENFORCED ON CHAIN

  • · The channel — the pool's liquidity — is sealed in the Caisson at launch. It cannot be pulled, by anyone, ever.
  • · The ladder's gates are fixed levels. A pool that is under water cannot be paid out, and there is no admin override.
  • · Coins are plain renounced ERC20s. No mint, no pause, no tax switch, no blacklist.
  • · The skim is a constant. It cannot be raised.

STILL THE KEEPER'S CHOICE

  • · Once a gate opens, the keeper may draw that pool and sell it into the channel. The higher gates need the market to climb a long way first.
  • · The high-water mark is touch-based: one large buy that spikes the price does open gates.
  • · The keeper collects the skim. That is their pay; it is not burned.

The gauge pages read every one of these live from the chain. If a page can't reach the chain, it says so — it never shows a cached promise.

KEEPER'S NOTE

A weir doesn't argue with the river. It just holds until the water is high enough to pass.
